NINTH WEEK

FROM 13 JANUARY TO 14 JANUARY

ടീച്ചിംഗ് പ്രാക്ടീസിന്റെ ഒൻപതാമത്തെ ആഴ്ച വിജയകരമായി പൂർത്തിയാക്കി...

          ഒൻപത് ആഴ്ച നീണ്ടു നിന്ന അധ്യാപക പരിശീലനത്തിന് ഇന ആഴ്ച തിരശ്ശീല വീണു. ഈ ആഴ്ച രണ്ടു ദിവസം മാത്രമാണ് ക്ലാസുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. ഒട്ടുമിക്ക അധ്യാപകരും ഓടിനടന്ന് തങ്ങളുടെ ജോലി ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു. മുൻകൂട്ടി തന്നെ എല്ലാ Work കളും ചെയ്തു തീർത്തതിനാൽ ഈയുള്ള രണ്ടു ദിവസം പരമാവധി ആസ്വദിക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചു. സ്കൂളിൽ പുതുതായി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ക്ലാസ് ലൈബ്രറിയുടെ ഉദ്ഘാടനവും അതോടൊപ്പം സ്കൂളിൽ പുതിയതായി നിർമ്മിച്ച സ്റ്റെപ്പിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനവും സ്കൂൾ സ്കൗട്ട് & ഗയിഡ് ന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനവും നടന്നു. രണ്ടാം ഘട്ട ടീച്ചിംഗ് പ്രാക്ടീസിന്റെ അവസാന ഘട്ടമായത്തിനാൽ സെന്റ് ഓഫ് ഉം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. അധ്യാപകർക്കും അനധ്യാപകർക്കും വിദ്യാർതഥികൾക്കും മധുര വിതരണവും നടത്തി. അധ്യാപകർക്ക് നമ്മുടെ സേവനം വളരെയധികം ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു എന്ന് അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. അവർ നമ്മെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുകയുo ചെയുതു. നമുക്ക് നല്ലൊരു ഭാവി ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ എന്നവർ ആശംസിച്ചു. ഉയർന്ന മേഖലയിൽ കഴിവുറ്റ അധ്യാപകരാകാൻ അവരുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥന എന്നും ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഏറെ സന്തോഷം തോന്നിയ നിമിഷങ്ങളായിരുന്നു അത്. ഓർമയിൽ സൂക്ഷിക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്ന ഒട്ടനവധി അനുഭവങ്ങൾ നല്കിയ ദിവസങ്ങളായിരുന്നു കടന്ന് പോയത്...

INAUGURATION OF CLASS LIBRARY AND SCOUT AND GUIDE UNIT.... 

              Today we inaugurate our class library and school scout and  guide unit. Panchayath members participate in this programme. It was a huge success for the united effort of we and our teachers. Our new step also inaugurate today.

SEND OFF....

            Today, the last day of  second phase teaching practice. So we decided to give sweets for the students, teachers and non teaching staffs. Majority of the students were sad to give a send off to us. Teachers were give us their blessing to become a  good teacher as well as a successful person in life. Any way it was a wonderful experience for me...

EIGHTH WEEK

FROM 6 JANUARY TO 10 JANUARY 

ടീച്ചിംഗ് പ്രാക്ടീസിന്റെ എട്ടാമത്തെ ആഴ്ച വിജയകരമായി പൂർത്തിയാക്കി....

             വളരെ തിരക്കേറിയ ഒരാഴ്ച ആയിരുന്നു ഇത്. ഒട്ടനവധി കാര്യങ്ങളാണ് ഈ ചുരുങ്ങിയ ദിവസത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ചെയ്തു തീർത്തത്. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ ബന്ദായതിനാൽ ആഴ്ചയിലെ ഒരു ദിവസം നമുക്ക് നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. Self work ന്റെ ഭാഗമായി വിവിധ ക്ലാസുകളിൽ മഹാൻമാരായ വ്യക്തികളെ കുട്ടികൾക്ക് മുന്നിൽ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്താനായി who am I? എന്ന Game implement ചെയ്തു. കുട്ടികൾക്ക് എത്രത്തോളമാണ് അറിവുള്ളത് എന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ ഈ Game ഏറെ സഹായിച്ചു. സാധാരണ രീതിയിൽ നിന്നും വ്യത്യസ്ഥമായി ക്ലാസ് എടുക്കുന്നതിനായി innovative method ക്ലാസിൽ implement ചെയ്തു. മാത്രവുമല്ല കുട്ടികളുടെ പഠനം എളുപ്പവും രസകരവുമാകത്തക്കവിധത്തിൽ innovative work കുട്ടികൾക്ക് നല്കുകയും അത് Effective ആയോ എന്നറിയാനായി Post testഉം നടത്തുകയുണ്ടായി. ബോധവൽക്കരണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി സർക്കാർ നടത്തിവരുന്ന മാജിക്ക് programme നമ്മുടെ സ്കൂളിലും സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. സമൂഹത്തിൽ നേരിട്ടു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഒട്ടനവധി പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ കുട്ടികളിലേയ്ക്ക് മാജിക്കിലൂടെ എത്തിക്കുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്. പത്താം ക്ലാസുകാരുടെ PTA meeting ഈ ആഴ്ച തന്നെ നടന്നു. മാർക്കിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ കുട്ടികളെ Homogeneous group കളായി തിരിച്ചു. രക്ഷിത്തക്കൾക്കായി ഒരു awareness programme സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. പരീക്ഷ കഴിഞ്ഞതോടെ കുട്ടികളിൽ മടിപ്പ് കൂടിയതായി എനിക്ക് തോന്നി. ക്ലാസിൽ നിന്നും പൊതുവെ നല്ല response ലഭിക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. Training Teachers പലരും തങ്ങളുടെ responsibilities വേണ്ട വിധത്തിൽ ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല എന്ന് എനിക്ക് തോന്നി. അതവരോട് പറയുകയും ചെയ്തു. അവസാന ഘട്ട Observation ആയി ടീച്ചർമാർ ഈ ആഴ്ച തന്നെ എത്തിയിരുന്നു.

KNOWLEDGE GAME IMPLEMENTED IN 9TH STANDARD.....

            As part of the self work I implemented a knowledge game in 9th standard. It was named as Who am I? For this I selected some famous personalities from different fields and make them as some lots.  I asked the students to pick one from them and make some hint about the person, the other students tell who is the person. It was successfully implemented in the class. It help- the students to know about different persons in the world. I am very glad to say that our students know majority of the person that I given...

Innovative lesson implemented....

            Innovative lesson taken in my class. It was about the Quadrilaterals. I found difficulty among students in identifying the different quadrilaterals. So I decided to plan an innovative way to teach them about the topic. I do it through some activities and a story. It was truly effective in my class.

SURVEY CONDUCTED...

       Today I conducted a survey on two different topics such as effectiveness of  counselling in school and working of clubs in school for the high school students  I implemented it in the 9th standard. I choose boys to fill the questionnaire.  

INNOVATIVE WORK ....

          To make the interest of students in learning I prepared an innovative work for learning the basic concepts of the chapters   such as ratio and construction of quadrilateral. It was a learning aid containing the   basic concepts in an interesting way. Also it contains some games to learn. After giving the aid to the students I conducted a post test to find the effectiveness of the learning aid.

EXPERIENCE OF THE DAY

PTA MEETING AND AWARENESS CLASS...

           Today we conducted a PTA meeting for 10th standard students on the basis of their achievement in Xmas exam. We divided the students into homogeneous groups as per their marks. Those scored the highest marks came into the 1st divisions. After completing the PTA meeting we arranged an awareness   class for the parents about the SSLC exam. More than 150 parents were participated in this exam.

REGISTRATION COMMITTEE....

       We have the duty to register the parents  who were ready to participate the awareness class. 

MAGIC SHOW....

        As part of government's awareness programme on contaminated deceases like Aids a magic programme conducted in our school. ?It was both entertaining as well as informative. all students as well as the teachers enjoyed it well. 

   

SEVENTH WEEK 

FROM 3 JANUARY TO 4 JANUARY

Seventh week of teaching practice successfully completed....

   പത്ത് ദിവസത്തെ ക്രിസ്മസ് അവധിക്കു പുറമെ ശിവഗിരി തീർത്ഥാടനം പ്രമാണിച്ച് നാല് ദിവസം കൂടി അവധി ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു. അവധിക്ക് ശേഷം പുതുവത്സരത്തിൽ സ്കൂളിലേയ്ക്ക് വരാൻ എനിക്ക് വളരെ സന്തോഷമാണ് തോന്നിയത്. സകൂൾ തുറന്ന ആദ്യ ദിവസം കുട്ടികൾക്ക് പൊതുവെ ക്ലാസുകളിൽ ഇരിക്കാൻ മടിപ്പ് അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.... ഈ ആഴ്ച തന്നെ എല്ലാ വിഷയങ്ങളുടെയും പേപ്പറുകൾ നല്കണമായിരുന്നു. കുട്ടികൾ പൊതുവെ പരീക്ഷ പേപ്പറുകൾ വാങ്ങാൻ തിടുക്കം കാണിച്ചിരുന്നു. സ്കൂളിലെ അധ്യാപികയുടെ നിർദ്ദേശപ്രകാരം ചതുർഭുജപ്പരപ്പ് എന്ന പാഠ ഭാഗം കൂടി എടുക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു.... വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച ആയിരുന്നു സ്കൂൾ തുറന്നത്. അതു കൊണ്ടു തന്നെ രണ്ടു ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ മാത്രമേ ക്ലാസ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളു. അതിൽ ഒരു ദിവസം മാത്രമാണ് എനിക്ക് പീരിഡ് ഉണ്ടായിരൂന്നത്. ചതുരത്തിന്റെ പരപ്പളവ് കാണാൻ remedial ക്ലാസ് നല്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നതിനാൽ എനിക്ക് ഈ പാഠഭാഗം പഠിപ്പിക്കാൻ അധികം പ്രയാസം അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നില്ല ... Activity method ഉപയോഗിച്ച് പാഠഭാഗം ആരംഭിച്ചത് കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ആശയം വ്യക്തമാകുന്നതിന് ഏറെ സഹായിച്ചു... കുട്ടികളിൽ നിന്നും conscientization programme ന്റെ feel back ശേഖരിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. കുട്ടികൾ പറഞ്ഞു ഇത്തരം Programme ആദ്യമായാണ് സ്കൂളിൽ നടന്നുന്നതെന്നും ഇനിയും ഇത്തരം പരിപാടികൾ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കണമെന്നും പറഞ്ഞു. മാത്രവുമല്ല കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ഈ Programme അറിവും ആത്മവിശ്വാസവും ഒരുപോലെ നല്കി എന്ന് അവർ അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. കുട്ടികൾക്കായി ക്ലാസിൽ SWOT analysis നടത്തുകയുണ്ടായി. അതിലൂടെ കുട്ടികൾക്ക് തങ്ങളെ സ്വയം വിലയിരുത്താൻ കഴിഞ്ഞു...

SWOT ANALYSIS IMPLEMENTED IN 7 B....

       As part of the self work SWOT analysis is implemented in 7 B class.  For that I suggested the students to write their strength, weakness, opportunity and thread. Every one write their own strength, weakness, opportunity and thread that they faces in their day to day life. After that we discussed each paper and suggest the way to over come the thread that faced by the students and utilize their opportunity properly. Through this programme students think about their  self and identify their own strength. It was a novel experience for the students....

FEED BACK COLLECTED FROM STUDENTS ABOUT CONSCIENTIZATION PROGRAMME......

        Today I collected feed back from students of 9th standard about the conscientization programme that we were conducted before the vacation. Students says that it was a wonderful programme for them and they were enjoyed the programme very well. Our school doesn't conducted such a programme till that. They says that this programme provide knowledge as well as confidence to talk in frond of an audience. Students got information about water pollution: causes, effects and preventive measures.  They were agreed to protest against water pollution and for saving our water....
