FIRST WEEK

FROM 11 NOVEMBER TO 16 NOVEMBER

 Successfully completed the first week 

Njekkad : l successfully completed the first week of practice teaching... l completed 8 lesson plans.. also I got chance to participated in the activities in the school such as conducting the NMMS classes and quiz competition... Also I got chance to teach 10th, 9th, 5th, 7th standard students... Now I am familiar with the school atmosphere and students of 8.F...

First week of practice teaching....

           ഈ ആഴ്ച വളരെ നന്നായി തന്നെ കടന്നു പോയി.... എനിക്ക്  8. എഫ്  ക്ലാസ് ആണ് പഠിപ്പിക്കാൻ ആയി ലഭിച്ചത്... പുതിയ കുട്ടികൾ, പല സ്വഭാവംമുള്ളവർ വളരെ ആകാംശയോടെയാണ് ഞാൻ ക്ലാസിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചത്... ഈ ഒരാഴ്ച കൊണ്ടു തന്നെ ക്ലാസിലെ കുട്ടികളെ കുറിച്ച് നല്ലതുപോലെ മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചു... സ്കൂളിന്റെ എടുത്തു പറയേണ്ട സവിശേഷത എന്തെന്നാൽ എല്ലാ ക്ലാസ് മുറികളും ഹൈടെക് ആണ് , പക്ഷേ ഈ കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ഇരുന്ന് പഠിക്കാൻ ആവശ്യമായ അത്രയും ക്ലാസമുറികൾ അവിടെയില്ല... കെട്ടിടങ്ങളുടെ പണി നടക്കുന്നതേയുള്ളു... എങ്കിൽ പോലും ഈ പോരായ്മകളെ ഷിഫ്റ്റ് രീതിയിലൂടെ മറികടക്കാൻ അവിടുത്തെ മാനേജ്മെന്റിന് സാധിച്ചു... ഒരാഴ്ചക്കുള്ളിൽ തന്നെ സ്കൂളിലെ പ്രവർത്തന സമയത്തെ കുറിച്ചു ഓരോ പീരിഡും എത്ര മണിക്കൂർ വീതമാണ് എന്നും മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചു... ചില ക്ലാസുകളിലെ പ്രൊജക്ടർ പ്രവർത്തനരഹിതമായിരുന്നു ... അതിനാൽ തന്നെ ക്ലാസ് എടുക്കുന്നതിൽ കുറച്ച ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടു. കുട്ടികൾക്കായി ഉച്ചഭക്ഷണം ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട് ഒട്ടുമിക്ക കറികളും ഓരോ ദിവസവും ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തറുണ്ട് എങ്കിൽ പോലും വേണ്ടത്ര അളവിൽ നല്ക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നത് വാസ്തവം... 

ക്ലാസ് മാനേജ് ചെയ്യാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നുണ്ട് എങ്കിൽ പോലും പഠനത്തോട് ചില കുട്ടികൾക്കുള്ള മനോഭാവം വിഷമം ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നതായിരുന്നു... ഈ ഒരു ആഴ്ച കൊണ്ടു തന്നെ ഓരോ കുട്ടികളുടെ സ്വഭാവവും മനസിലാക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചു. മിക്ക കട്ടികൾക്കും ലഘു ഗണിതത്തിനെ കുറിച്ചു പോലും അറിയില്ല എന്ന് തോന്നി... ഇതു കൂടാതെ കുട്ടികൾക്കായുള്ള സ്കോളർഷിപ്പ് പരീക്ഷകൾക്കായി തയ്യാറെടുപ്പിക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചു മാത്രവുമല്ല ചില മത്സരങ്ങളിൽ കുട്ടികളെ തയ്യാറെടുപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു... ഫ്രീപീരിഡുകളിൽ 5 6 7 8 9 10 ക്ലാസുകളിൽ കയറി കുട്ടിക്കായി ഇടപെഴകാൻ സാധിച്ചു. ഇത് ക്ലാസ് മാനേജ്മെന്റിന് ഏറെ സഹായകമായി.

EXPERIENCE OF THE DAY 

ACTIVITY METHOD 

             I use activity method to recall the concept of ratio that the students were learned in standard 7th. I use activity card which containing the questions related to ratio. By solving the questions students recall the concept easily.  

ICT BASED CLASS

           To make the students understand on the topic part relations I use ICT method, here by the use of an elephant I shows the  changes. I was very helpful to the students in understanding the concept.

 PARLIAMENT COMPETITION

           It has been conducted a moc parliament competition in our school. Almost sixteen schools were participated in this competition. Students in our school role played each member of the parliament. They discussed the current issues in our Nation.

YOGA PRACTICES

           To day I teach the students about the asana KATI CHAKRASANA. Each students practiced it well. Students correct the errors  that made by their peers. By this I understood that the students become mastery over the particular asana. This asana help the students to get more flexible spinal code, help in digestion and remove constipation.

EXPERIENCE OF THE DAY 

FIRST OBSERVATION COMPLETED

        Today my first optional observation was completed. Smitha miss came to observe our classes and give suggestions to improve our class. She give me the following comments,

1. Teacher is pleasant and confident.
2. Well prepared.
3. Elicited answers from students fruitfully.
4. Considering all students and providing individual enrichment - appreciable.
5. Black board work is systematic and neat.
6. Correlation is good.
7. Good class.

NMMS QUIZ COMPETITION

             Today we conduct a quiz competition as part of  the preparation for  NMMS Scholarship examination. The questions are on the science topic. Majority of the students were answered each and every questions. Quiz master ask 36 questions in this topic.

EXPERIENCE OF THE DAY 

SPECIAL  ASSEMBLY 

        

                Today : CHILDREN'S DAY we conduct a special assembly. School Headmaster Sri. Madhusoodhanan sir delivered a speech on Nehru and his life. Also he talk about some disciplinary problems faced by our school. He put forward some suggestions to improve assembly discipline. Also congratulate the student named GAYA who wrote a letter to Neheru and it published in news paper. Also distribute badges against drug abuse among students.

CERTIFICATE DISTRIBUTION

            

          Today, the certificates of arts festival winners were distributed in assembly. Headmaster sri. Madhusoodhanan sir and Deputy H.M smt. Suma teacher distribute the certificate among students.

MATHS CLASS FOR NMMS

             I took maths class for the 8th standard students as part of the NMMS Scholarship exam preparation. It was a wonderful experience for me. It was an effective class for the students who were preparing for the examination. It was an one and half  hour programme.

 EXPERIENCE OF THE DAY

SUBSTITUTION WORKS...

                 Every free hours they provide us with the substitution works. We have to engage in the class where there isn't any teacher. In majority of the U.P classes we allow the students to sing song, draw pictures, and provide different games. Those students loved us very much. They frequently ask us to came into the class to make with them fun. I am also loved to take classes for those innocent kids.

EXPERIENCE OF THE DAY 

PREPARING THE STUDENTS FOR COMPETITION...

         Prepare the 10th standard student SARANYA for the Malayalam Poetry competition and Nadan Pattu competition. I choose the songs for her and corrected her. She prepared it well. For the Malayalam Poetry we choose the Poem AMMA and for Nadan pattu we choose the song Chemparunth.
